Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Marine Corps Lt. Gen. David A. Ottignon for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commanding general, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Ottignon is currently serving as deputy commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Quantico, Virginia.
