Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Ryan P. Heritage for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commandant for Information, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C. Heritage is currently serving as commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, Fort Meade, Maryland.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Derin S. Durham for appointment to the grade of major general. Durham is currently serving as commander, 4th Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, California.
