General Officer Announcements 15 February

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Army Col. James D. Burk for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Burk is currently serving as command surgeon, U.S. Army Forces Command, Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Army Col. Andrew L. Landers for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Landers is currently serving as commander, 68th Medical Command (Deployment Support); and command surgeon, U.S. Army Europe-Africa, Germany.

Army Col. Bill A. Soliz for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Soliz is currently serving as commander, Medical Readiness Command, Pacific; and director, Defense Health Region Agency Indo-Pacific, Defense Health Agency, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Army Col. Yolanda R. Summons for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Summons is currently serving as deputy chief of staff for operations, U.S. Army Medical Command, Falls Church, Virginia.
