Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced that the president has made the following nominations:
Air Force Brig. Gen. Elizabeth E. Arledge for appointment to the grade of major general. Arledge is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert M. Blake for appointment to the grade of major general. Blake is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Vanessa J. Dornhoefer for appointment to the grade of major general. Dornhoefer is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the deputy chief of staff for logistics, engineering, and force protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, The Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Christopher A. Freeman for appointment to the grade of major general. Freeman is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of operations, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. David P. Garfield for appointment to the grade of major general. Garfield is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Mitchell A. Hanson for appointment to the grade of major general. Hanson is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, First Air Force (Air Forces Northern) and Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Jody A. Merritt for appointment to the grade of major general. Merritt is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Space Operations Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Adrian K. White for appointment to the grade of major general. White is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.
Air Force Brig. Gen. William W. Whittenberger Jr. for appointment to the grade of major general. Whittenberger is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Christopher F. Yancy for appointment to the grade of major general. Yancy is currently serving as the special assistant to the commander, U.S. Africa Command, Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart-Mohringen, Germany.
