Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced that the president has made the following nominations:

Air Force Col. Sean M. Carpenter for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Carpenter is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of plans, programs, and requirements, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

Air Force Col. Mary K. Haddad for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Haddad is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the deputy chief of space operations for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, Headquarters, U.S. Space Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. James L. Hartle for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Hartle is currently serving as the associate director of logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Aaron J. Heick for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Heick is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

Air Force Col. Kristin A. Hillery for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Hillery is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Force Medical Readiness Agency at the Defense Health Headquarters, Falls Church, Virginia.

Air Force Col. Joseph D. Janik for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Janik is currently serving as the commander, 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts.

Air Force Col. Michael T. McGinley for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. McGinley is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Air Force Col. Kevin J. Merrill for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Merrill is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of operations, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Air Force Col. Tara E. Nolan for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Nolan is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of logistics, engineering, and force protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Air Force Col. Roderick C. Owens for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Owens is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of the Defense Contract Management Agency, Fort Lee, Virginia.

Air Force Col. Mark D. Richey for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Richey is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the Twentieth Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

Air Force Col. Norman B. Shaw, Jr. for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Shaw is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the director of strategy, plans, requirements, and programs, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Air Force Col. Michelle L. Wagner for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Wagner is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the command surgeon, Headquarters, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
