About 11.20pm, ground units observed a white Mazda 2C hatchback travelling on Newman Street in Spalding. Officer activated emergency lights and sirens to stop the vehicle; however, it will be alleged the driver failed to stop and accelerated away.
Police Air Wing tracked the vehicle as the driver allegedly travelled at excessive speeds, on the incorrect side of the road, through red traffic control lights, and without headlights through suburbs surrounding Geraldton.

Police conducted a search of the man and the vehicle and allegedly located a quantity of Methylamphetamine and more than $5,000 in cash.
