Gleniss Lawrence joins Shooting Australia Board

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gleniss Lawrence to the Board of Shooting Australia.

Gleniss replaces Craig Henwood, who has resigned from the board to allow him to focus on his sport (Men's Trap) and pursue his international competition goals.

Shooting Australia President Andrew Sims thanked Craig for his contribution. "The Shooting Australia Board and Senior Management are extremely appreciative of Craig's contribution throughout his two years in role and the extensive knowledge of the clay target sports and associated communities he provided. We wish him well.

We are delighted to welcome Gleniss. Gleniss brings significant experience to the Shooting Australia Board, both from outside our sport as well as from her Australian and international shotgun roles. We look forward to working with her."

Gleniss is a former ISSF shotgun competitor. She has held positions including Australian Team Manager and Coach. Gleniss is a member of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Shotgun Committee and a qualified ISSF Judge and Referee. Gleniss has officiated at numerous international events including two Olympic Games. She is a business director, owner and operator and has had previous board positions across health, education and sport.

Gleniss will join Andrew, Deserie Baynes and Robert Maddocks on the Board.
