Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Gooseberry Hill on Thursday 20
April 2017 at about 2.00pm, WA Police say.
A man was riding his mountain bicycle along several streets in Gooseberry hill before riding onto the
footpath along the intersection of Gooseberry Hill Road and Healey Place.
As he rode down Gooseberry Hill he crashed into a wooden power pole.
The 24 year old rider from Gooseberry Hill received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance
to Royal Perth Hospital. The man died on Tuesday 2 May 2017.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen crash or the man riding
his black and grey Haro Escape brand mountain bike in the Gooseberry Hill area prior to the crash.
