Grafton Netball to get boost

The netball facilities at Westward Park in Grafton are set for a major rejuvenation, following Clarence Valley Council's successful application to the Regional Sports Facility Fund.

The total grant of $947,382 from the NSW State Government will result in new, safer playing surfaces, environmentally friendly lighting, extra seating, and more shade for local netballers and spectators.

The women's facilities at the park in Bacon St will also be upgraded, to bring them up to par with the men's facilities.

This will offer the Grafton Netball Association opportunities to host regional competitions, attracting visitors to the region.
