SEVEN Gravel Race returns to Western Australia's South West this weekend with support from the Cook Labor Government, bringing thousands of visitors to the region for the endurance cycling event.

The race will see competitors tackle a gravel cycling course between Nannup to Balingup through the Blackwood Valley, traversing challenging terrain that showcases the region's natural beauty.

SEVEN Gravel Race continues to build momentum for Western Australia's growing reputation as a world-class cycling and events destination, while delivering strong economic benefits to regional communities and supporting local jobs and businesses.

In 2025, the event attracted over 3,000 out-of-region visitors and generated close to $1.8 million in direct spend, with similar results expected this year.

The race is a key qualifying event for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, which will also be held in Nannup later this year - marking the first time the Championships have ever been hosted outside of Europe, and a massive coup for Western Australia's reputation as a world-class cycling destination.

SEVEN Gravel Race is supported by the Cook Labor Government through Tourism WA's Regional Events Program, funded by Royalties for Regions.
