Grievous bodily harm at Gladstone

Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) detectives are appealing for information in relation to the assault of a 32-year-old man at O'Connell on October 19.

Police were called to Kirkwood Road just after midnight following reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Attending officers subsequently located a 32-year-old Beerwah man with serious injuries.

He was transported to Gladstone Hospital, before being further transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who travelled on or around Kirkwood Road and Glenlyon Street between 11:30pm on October 18 and 1am on October 19, who may have dashcam footage or witnessed a silver Ford Ranger, to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
