Griffith City library courtyard gets revamp

The Griffith City Library courtyard has undergone a transformation, with members invited to check out the newly revamped space.

Thanks to new seating, umbrellas and turf, it is now a bright and funky outdoor area where visitors can sit and read, enjoy a coffee or have lunch this summer.

Griffith City Library Acting Manager, Chris Robson, said Council's Urban Design team had helped make the space more inviting.

"We have introduced some outdoor furniture to bring a bit of life and colour to our previously underutilised courtyard space," Mr Robson said.

"I think everyone will agree it's now an area that more people can enjoy."

If you haven't visited the Griffith City Library lately, you should to find out what else is new.
