Have your say: Private healthcare survey

Australian Medical Association

The AMA has been advocating to the federal government for significant reform to private healthcare in Australia, and we want to hear your concerns about the current system.

The AMA is running a survey for members to share their main concerns about Australia's current private healthcare system.

In the coming weeks, the AMA will be releasing several reports on the private healthcare system, including on new models of out-of-hospital care.

We will also be bringing stakeholders together in October for a discussion about how the AMA can drive reform.

AMA members are invited to share their main concerns about the private health system through a short survey.

This will help further inform our long-running efforts to achieve significant reform to Australia's private healthcare system to ensure it remains viable into the future.
