The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will undertake two hazard reduction burns in Morton National Park from Thursday 24 November, weather permitting.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), assisted by Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW), completing a hazard reduction burn in Berowra Valley National Park near Hornsby.

The hazard reduction burns are intended to treat a combined 17 hectares of bushland on the southern edge of Fitzroy Falls village.

The West Rim and East Rim walking tracks and the Redhills fire trail will be closed for the duration of the burns.
