Tasmanians are encouraged to be aware of their healthcare treatment options and plan ahead over the Easter period.
Minister for Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Bridget Archer, said there was a wide range of treatment options that are available to Tasmanians not just this Easter but all year-round.
"Our hospitals are experiencing increased demand on their services, and we often see this heightened around holiday periods," Minister Archer said.
"Anyone requiring emergency medical care for a serious injury or illness should call triple zero (000) or make their way to the nearest emergency department (ED) where our dedicated and hardworking hospital staff will care for you.
