Did you miss out on meeting Darcy Moore?

Last month, to mark Men's Health Week, we teamed up with Tomorrow Man to host A Night with the Blokes.

What did you miss out on? An honest, down-to-earth workshop for local sports clubs, designed to spark meaningful conversations about men's health and wellbeing.

A key focus was talking about how blokes can take better care of themselves, their mates, their families and their community.

Held at Safety Beach Sailing Club, guests got to hear from special guest and Collingwood Football Club captain Darcy Moore.

This workshop created a space where showing up and speaking up was not just welcomed, it was encouraged. Darcy shared his own insights on leadership, vulnerability and the importance of looking out for your mates.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the impact of simply being in a room where conversations felt genuine.

Tomorrow Man facilitator, Ryder Jack continues to see this impact at these workshops, noting that small moments can lead to lasting change.

"The Night with the Blokes workshop is a chance for men from all sorts of backgrounds to come together and explore the current state of masculinity.

"I think the outcomes are men are great when life's going well, but when they hit a crisis point, often they'll isolate or they'll try to escape their problems. But there's an opportunity to be able to show that these conversations are actually enjoyable to have.

"The more we can have them, the better we better skilled we've become at them."
