Helping high school students dream big

Transurban Queensland’s Paiabun Kurumba (Dream Big) Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) scholarships are making dreams a reality for nine new year 11 students awarded scholarships.

Through our partnership with the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF), we’re helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students complete their high school education and progress into tertiary learning.

We are proud to be supporting a total of 20 Year 11 and 12 students across Brisbane through the STEM scholarship program.

We’ll be welcoming our QATSIF scholarship students into our Brisbane offices for work experience to kick off their emersion in STEM within Transurban.

We can’t wait to show our students what we do at Transurban and how what they’re doing today, could change what we do tomorrow.

Scholarship students receive work experience, $2,000 towards school supplies and $500 for technology to aid their education.
