Herron serious crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Herron (Mandurah) on Saturday, 2 April 2022.

About 10.55pm, a silver Ford Ranger utility was travelling north on Southern Estuary Road when approximately 500m from Dalton Road, the vehicle left the carriageway and struck a tree.

A 20-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle received serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted by the RAC rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 21-year-old woman received minor injuries.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
