High-Range drink driver caught, NSW

A man has been charged after police found him standing next to a car that was stuck on a concrete road barrier in Homebush West overnight, NSW Police say.

Shortly before midnight police were alerted to a vehicle that had become stuck on a concrete road barrier on the Railway Bridge overpass on Richmond Road, Homebush West.

On arrival officers found the vehicle with two wheels stuck up on the barrier and the 28-year-old driver standing next to it.

The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Auburn Police Station where he was submitted to a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.150.

He was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for High Range PCA.

His licence was suspended and he will appear before Burwood Local Court on Thursday 10 November 2016.
