High school deliberately lit - Mount Annan

Investigations are underway after a high school was deliberately lit in Sydney's south-west this morning.

About 2.40am today (Wednesday 18 September 2019), emergency services were called to a school on Welling Drive, Mount Annan, after reports it was on fire.

Firefighters attended and extinguished the blaze. A classroom sustained substantial amount of smoke damage to the walls, and furniture.

A blunt object was used to damage 12 windows to the science block of the school.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
