At its meeting on 16 June 2026, Council resolved to adopt draft amendments to Part D Section 17 - Box Hill North of The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 (DCP 2012) in support of the West Gables Planning Proposal.
The amendments extend the application of this existing DCP section to include the West Gables planning proposal land and guide development outcomes similarly to those being achieved in the adjoining Gables Precinct. The DCP includes controls relating to lot dimensions and setbacks for lots, building envelope controls and dwelling controls for each lot size range. It also includes guidance with respect to the new road network and indicative layout plan for the subject area.
The amendments to the DCP will come into force on the date that the associated planning proposal (1/2024/PLP) is notified on the NSW Legislation Website.
