Northcote Police are investigating after a hit run crash in Thornbury in the early hours of this morning (Friday 26 June).
Investigators have been told a car was travelling west on Woolton Avenue across the intersection of St Georges Road just after 12.20am.
The car became airborne over the tram tracks, lost control and struck two parked cars.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.
