Home invasion - Bidwill

An investigation is underway after a home invasion in Sydney's west last night.

About 6.50pm (Monday 26 October 2020), police were called to Kidd Close, Bidwill, following reports six men had forced entry into a home.

Police have been told one of the men threatened a 54-year-old woman with a knife, before the group stole personal items, including a handbag, wallet and mobile phone.

The group were seen leaving in a vehicle, described only as a silver four-wheel-drive.

A 16-year-old girl was also home at the time; however, no one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command commenced an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
