Hoppers Crossing bottle shop armed robbery

Detectives from Altona North Embona Armed Robbery Taskforce are hoping to identify a man with a distinctive gait following an armed robbery in Hoppers Crossing last month.

Investigators have been told the man attended a bottle shop at a Geelong Road shopping centre about 6.50pm on 6 March.

The unknown man selected a can of alcohol before walking to the counter.

He lowered his pants to revel a knife to the attendant and demanded cash.

The man fled the store with a sum of cash before fleeing the centre on a black bicycle in an unknown direction.

Police have released images and CCTV footage and images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, between 30 and 40-years-old, about 188cm tall with an average build, and had a distinctive walking style.
