Seniors across Horsham can look forward to a fabulous month of programs in October during the Victorian Seniors Festival 2025.
The Festival delivers a range of free and low-cost events for older Victorians, and Horsham community groups will be among those hosting events to celebrate positive ageing and take part in activities close to home.
Whether you'd like to catch up with friends, try something new, or simply enjoy the company of others, there's plenty worth checking out.
Events are spread across a few venues, with five local community groups successfully applying for Council grants of up to $300 each to bring together our senior community and enjoy some time out and about.
The festivities begin with an afternoon tea presented by Horsham and District U3A, the region's biggest host of activities and study groups for retirees and the semi-retired.
The highlight of the month will be a Seniors Country Concert, presented by Horsham Rural City Council with support from the Victorian State Government.

All events are free, and Horsham Rural City Council is especially grateful to the Victorian State Government for funding the Seniors Country Concert.
"This is a great opportunity for our seniors to Connect, Create and Celebrate — the theme of this year's Victorian Seniors Festival." Said Cr Klowss.
