How faulty light, can ruin your night

Casey Highway Patrol officers intercepted a high range drink driver in Langwarrin this morning.

Officers were patrolling Cranbourne-Frankston Road when they caught sight of a White Toyota Landcruiser with a faulty headlight about 12am.

Police intercepted the car and spoke to the driver, a 34-year-old man from Narre Warren South.

He provided an evidentiary breath test of 0.210, more than four times the legal limit.

The driver had his licence suspended for 12 months and his car impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1042.

He is expected to be charged on summons for traffic offences including drink driving.
