Hutchinson Builders managing director Greg Quinn will address the QUT Business School Business Leades' Forum next month.
Mr Quinn joined Hutchinson Builders in 2001 as the first non-family member managing director since the company was founded in 1912.
Hutchinson Builders is one of the leading performers in the construction sector and is now ranked in the top 10 of Australia's Top 500 private companies.
Today the company employs more than 1,600 people and generates an annual turnover of $2.7 billion.
Mr Quinn built his early leadership credentials as executive director of the Queensland and New South Wales Master Builders’ associations.
At the Business Leaders' Forum on 23 October at the Hilton Brisbane he will speak to his personal journey and the leadership that works in a diverse and complex organisation like Hutchinson.
He will also outline the challenges he has faced as leader and why longevity, family values, knowledge, skill and national reach are the key ingredients in the continued success of Hutchinson Builders.
The event will be moderated by leading Australian journalist, Kerry O'Brien.
