Inclusive playground opens at Tanunda

Barossa Council

The new inclusive playground at Tanunda Recreation Park has officially opened.

The new intergenerational playground has been designed for kids of all ages with a variety of adventure, sensory and creative play spaces to explore.

Features of the playground include a flying fox, trampolines, climbing and elevated play, slides, swings, and sand and water play.

Plenty of shade and seating, toilets, barbecues and a water fountain make it the perfect place to spend the whole day.

The $1.1 million playground has been made possible by State Government grant funding of $330,000 and a Council contribution of $782,000 as part of The Big Project.
