Information sought re City Beach incident

Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding several robberies that occurred last night, Tuesday 26 January 2021, between 9pm and 10pm in the City Beach and Floreat Beach areas.

A number of robberies have been reported that police believed are linked. Police are concerned that there may be more incidents that are yet to be reported. Detectives ask anyone who was a victim of an incident that may be linked to this investigation and who has not spoken to police, to report the incident to police on 131 444.

In one reported incident a group of youths were at a beach party between City Beach and Scarborough Beach when another group of youths started threatening some of the party goers who were assaulted and their personal property stolen. Two teenage boys aged 15 and 16 were treated at Perth Children's Hospital for facial injuries.
