Conference Convenor, Kos Sclavos AM, is excited to announce the Ann Dalton Address will be presented by the inspiring Turia Pitt at next year's Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP2023) taking place on the Gold Coast over 23-26 March 2023.
"Our goal each year is provide delegates with a unique mix of clinical, business and motivational speakers at APP. Turia Pitt's incredible story during the Ann Dalton Address is not to be missed," said Mr. Sclavos.
Well-known burns survivor, Turia Pitt, will share her inspirational story with APP2023 delegates. Caught in a grassfire while competing in an ultramarathon in 2011, Turia suffered burns to 65% of her body. She is living proof that, with the right mindset, anything is possible!
But surviving is the least of her achievements. One of Australia's most admired and widely recognised people, Turia has gone on to become a bestselling author, a two-time Ironman and a humanitarian - raising well over $1 million for the charity, Interplast.
Through her online presence, books and online programs, Turia has inspired millions to live with more confidence, conquer their fears and chase down their wildest dreams.
Turia will be joined by over 100 other speakers during the four-day educational program. A copy of the program will be available on early November.
