A driver will face court after crashing his car at Ottoway and allegedly refusing to comply with police overnight.
Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Addison Road and Grand Junction Road, Ottoway, fust after 4am on Friday, 15 May following reports a Kia coupe had crashed into a pole.
Patrols spoke with the driver, who was uninjured but allegedly appeared drug affected. Police allege the 49-year-old man from Seaford Heights was directed to undergo a blood test, however, he refused to comply.
He was subsequently reported for failing to maintain proper control of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence, and refusing to submit to a blood test.
The Kia was impounded for 28 days, and the man will face court at a later date.
