Qualified tradesman, engineer, and Central Coast business owner, Michael Hall, will campaign for more investment and better services as the Liberal candidate for The Entrance.
A Tumbi Umbi local, Michael has spent more than 40 years building businesses from the ground up across engineering, manufacturing, construction, and automotive industries. He has also sought to give back to the community through leadership roles in Scouts, and ongoing support for organisations such as the Starlight Foundation and Angel Flight.
Having employed hundreds of people and trained many apprentices, Michael understands firsthand the pressures facing local businesses and the importance of backing employers to create local jobs.
"The Entrance is a wonderful place to live, but our community has been taken for granted by this Labor Government," said Mr Hall. "Kids growing up here today will struggle to find good local opportunities, because the businesses that we rely on for local jobs are struggling to survive."
"After running businesses and employing people for four decades, I know what it takes to turn things around and help our small businesses thrive. That's why I will be campaigning for the Liberal's great policy of payroll tax relief, which will help to turn the local economy around.
"The Entrance needs someone who can bring industrial and business experience to representing our community, and can be a strong advocate for the vital investments that our region urgently needs but has not been getting.
"Local families deserve safer streets, better roads, and access to essential healthcare services - not excuses."
As part of Kellie Sloane's Liberal team, Michael Hall will be a dedicated champion for The Entrance, fighting to bring jobs back to the Central Coast and deliver better infrastructure, a safer community and improved healthcare access.
