Karrinyup traffic crash

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a crash between a car and a cyclist in Karrinyup on Thursday, 9 July 2020 resulting in the cyclist being seriously injured.

About 2.10pm, a 13-year-old boy was riding his mountain bike north along the footpath on Milverton Avenue and a white Toyota Corolla hatchback was also traveling north on the same road. The cyclist and the Corolla collided at the intersection of Milverton Avenue and Crowcombe Way.

The 13-year-old boy was conveyed by ambulance to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The 43-year-old male driver of the Corolla was not injured.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Toyota Corolla or cyclist travelling in the area prior to the crash.
