Construction update
Most of the roof trusses above the warm water pool and spa have been installed and the installation of precast panels has begun.
Installation of roof rafters above the sports courts has also started, along with pouring of concourse slabs surrounding the 25 m, learn to swim and aqua play pools.
Over the coming months, you'll see progress with the installation of the structural steel around the sports courts at the western end of the site, as well as concrete pours for the warm water pool and concourse slab.
To prepare for increased construction activity, additional site sheds have now been set up. Work is also progressing off-site, including detailed steel fabrication drawings and the production of structural steel and concrete elements.
Our priority remains delivering a safe, high-quality facility for our community. Several layers of quality assurance are in place for the project.
