Following its sellout world premiere season at WA Museum Boola Bardip in Perth, and regional Western Australia earlier this year, The Great Kimberley Wilderness VR experience is now showing at the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle.
Narrated by Luke Hemsworth and produced by award-winning Australian production company White Spark Pictures, The Great Kimberley Wilderness is a 35-minute immersive VR experience.
Visitors to the WA Maritime Museum will embark upon a fully immersive cinematic adventure that feels as close to being in the Kimberley with a 360-degree virtual reality cinema and 7.1 surround sound.
Informed by both Traditional Owners and western science, this is a wonderful opportunity for Western Australians to fully immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring scale of the Kimberley.
Visitors can witness waterfalls cascading from towering cliffs, ancient caves adorned with some of the world's oldest rock art, rivers winding through some of the world's most pristine landscapes, and epic tides surging over coral reefs.
The exhibition runs from 31 May to 24 August.
As stated by Creative Industries Minister Simone McGurk:
"Visitors will enjoy an extraordinary experience of the Kimberely, one of the world's last great wilderness areas.
documentary that transports you to one of the most spectacular
"This exhibition continues to lead the way in digital immersive storytelling, by combining technology with authentic storytelling.
