Many of Bayside Council's facilities and services will operate on altered hours over the King's Birthday long weekend, with several Council venues closed on Monday 8 June before returning to normal operations on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
Council is encouraging residents to plan ahead and enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend with family and friends across Bayside.
Bayside Libraries, Customer Service Centres, the Bayside Garden Centre and the Arncliffe Youth Centre will all be closed on Monday 8 June for the public holiday.
Residents can still enjoy a range of recreational facilities across Bayside during the long weekend, with the Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre open from 8am to 6pm and Botany Golf Course open from 6:30am to 4:30pm on Monday 8 June.
For urgent matters during the public holiday closure, residents can contact Council's after-hours telephone service on 1300 581 299.
Motorists are also reminded that double demerits will be in force from Friday 5 June to Monday 8 June 2026, Please drive safely.
