The Community Security Group has the community's back - and we've got theirs.
That's why the Carroll Labor Government is providing $6 million in vital, multi-year operational funding for CSG.
CSG have taken on a significantly increased load of work since October 7, amid a rise in antisemitic violence across Victoria and Australia.
They need the certainty of ongoing funding for their vital operations rather than relying on year-to-year grants.
We will fund it because our priority is community safety - and the funding will flow immediately.
This boost will support frontline security operations, personnel and volunteers, through intelligence monitoring, protective services, crisis response planning and security technology.
It won't just help CSG strengthen security at Jewish schools, synagogues, community centres and events.
It will also help the organisation stabilise and plan ahead with certainty.
The support comes as Jewish communities continue to live with the threat of antisemitic incidents and attacks.
As the community come together for New Year, it's time to rally behind the organisations who keep everyone safe.
About CSG
Community Security Group provides security at Jewish schools, synagogues, community centres and events.
CSG Victoria also works closely with Victoria Police, emergency services and national security agencies to help identify and respond to potential threats.
The organisation operates a 24-hour Security Operations Centre and coordinates security activities at schools, places of worship and major community events across Victoria.
