Labor Heavyweight's Public Rebuke

Tasmanian Government

It's no secret that Labor heavyweights are lining up to call out their own party on greyhound racing.

Dean Winter's biggest mentor and party apparatchik Michael Aird has laid bare what's at stake.

"The debate about phasing out greyhounds is not an economic issue for me. It's an animal welfare issue."

Mr Winter doesn't care. Josh Willie is powerless to stop him.

The only thing stopping the end to greyhound racing in Tasmania is Mr Winter.

If Mr Willie cared about animals as much as he did about Mr Winter's ego, Labor would commit to ending greyhound racing in Tasmania by 2029.
