Labor's Energy Policy With A Very, Very Big Hole

Liberal Tasmania

  • There's something missing in Labor's re-sell of their underwhelming, uncosted, unfunded power plan.

On Wednesday, Labor unveiled the centerpiece to this plan: a brand new government business called the 'Tasmanian Power Company'.

The Labor leader claimed the 'Tasmanian Power Company' would double the State's energy supply.

But in today's media release wrapping up Labor's power plan, there is no mention of the 'Tasmanian Power Company'.

It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off its mortal coil, it's pushing up the daisies.

Make no mistake, this is not tweaking their policy in the face of a union revolt.

It's the total demolition of Labor's entire plan by pulling out its foundation.

Only a re-elected majority Rockliff Liberal Government will save Hydro, and build this State's next-generation renewable energy future.
