Landsdale Drug Charges

Detectives from the Drug and Firearm Squad have charged two people with a number of drug offences as the result of an ongoing investigation into illicit drug dealing activities in Perth's northern suburbs.

About 9.10am on Tuesday 28 November 2023, officers executed a search warrant at a property in Landsdale and took a 29-year-old man into custody.

During the search, it will be alleged police located and seized over 344 grams of methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and $77,000 in cash.

Several assets are subject to a freezing notice including a house, several motor vehicles, a large quantity of collectable trading cards and a pair of shoes valued at approximately $20,000. The total value of assets is estimated to be in excess of $1 million dollars.

A 39-year-old Landsdale man was charged with:

1 x Possessed a Trafficable Quantity of Methylamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Supply it to Another

1 x Received, Possessed, Concealed, Disposed of or Dealt With any Money or Other Property that is the Proceeds of an Offence

1 x Possessed any Drug Paraphernalia in or on which there was a Prohibited Drug or plant

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 29 November 2023.

A 39-year-old Landsdale woman was later arrested and charged with:

1 x Possessed a Trafficable Quantity of Methylamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Supply it to Another

1 x Received, Possessed, Concealed, Disposed of or Dealt With any Money or Other Property that is the Proceeds of an Offence

She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 5 December 2023.
