Temperatures are dropping and the frosts are already setting in with the arrival of autumn in the Snowy Monaro, which means it's time to get down to your local pool for one last splash.

Thanks to all the pool staff, swim coaches, swimmers, visitors and carers who utilised our pools this season.

Bombala, Berridale and Adaminaby Pools will close Saturday 20 March 2021 and reopen Saturday 20 November 2021.

Cooma Pool will close Wednesday 31 March 2021 and reopen in the spring, with a specific date to be announced soon.

"Our public pools are a great resource for the community to keep fit and active and Council encourages everyone to get out and put in a few laps before they shut down for the cooler months," said Mayor Peter Beer, Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

"It's been great to see people return to our pools, after the challenges of COVID-19 shutdowns, and enjoy what was a mild summer with some nice conditions for swimming," he said.

Council swimming pools are currently open seven days a week, morning to evening with different times across the locations.
