Library Knitters Support Charity: Bayside

Bayside libraries host several craft groups where new members of any skill level can enjoy the company of craft-lovers who happily share ideas, tips, and designs.

The Sans Souci Knitting Group started at Sans Souci Library in 2011. It has built up a loyal following of 22 active participants who meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

Rock & Wool meets in the Rockdale library and welcomes knitters of all levels. You can bring your own project or help create colourful blanket squares for charity.

The Eastgardens Knitting Club is also back in full swing meeting twice a month in the Eastgardens Library.

These groups knit or crochet squares that are used to create beautiful and warm blankets that are donated to Wrap with Love an organization that distributes blankets to those in need.

Crafternoon in the Rockdale library is a place for all crafters to get help on their projects including knitting crochet and embroidery.

New members are always welcome at these groups, and no experience is necessary. The friendly teams will have you crafting in no time. Donations of wool are also welcome.
