Local Government Website Content Has Moved To WA.gov.au

Local government website content moved to WA.gov.au on 1 July 2026.

Following the Public Sector Reform on 1 July 2025, the Local Government and Racing, Gaming and Liquor portfolios became part of the newly established Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS).

From today, the Local Government and Racing, Gaming and Liquor online content has joined the rest of the department's business areas on WA.gov.au to provide a contemporary and consistent user experience.

While the look of the website housing this content has changed, it still contains the same information and services. Importantly, any associated online systems and their functions have not changed, including the URLs for these applications.

However, specific subject or program pages that are bookmarked may need to be updated as the web pages are updated.

Our online services and our contact points remain the same.

LGIRS is committed to providing quality services to our community efficiently and effectively and we recognise our web presence plays an essential role in achieving this. We look forward to continuing to provide an up-to-date online experience for Western Australians.
