On Wednesday 4 February 2026, Georges River Council proudly celebrated the Community and Micro Grants 2025-2026 Round 1 recipients.
Council's Community and Micro Grants Program aims to enhance the wellbeing of residents across the Georges River area. It offers financial support for local projects that strengthen our community, encourage participation and celebrate diversity.
A total of $148,962 was shared between 16 community groups and local organisations.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said, "Council is proud to support our local organisations and individuals to deliver projects and initiatives that give back to the Georges River community.
"Congratulations to all recipients of this round and I look forward to seeing the positive impact their projects will have on our entire community."
