Logan City Council has opened a new clubhouse at Compton Park in Woodridge, providing a permanent home for the Logan Metro Football Club.
The $4.7 million project replaces the former clubhouse, which was destroyed by fire in January 2024.
Mayor Jon Raven said the new facility would support the club's strong growth and restore an important community asset.
"Logan Metro Football Club is a big part of the Woodridge community, and this new clubhouse gives them a great new place to call home," Mayor Raven said.
"Projects like this make sure the people who live in our fast-growing city have the facilities they need to stay active and connected."
The project was funded by Council ($400,000) and the Queensland Government ($4.3 million).
Minister for Local Government Ann Leahy said the new clubhouse is a strong example of what can be achieved when councils are backed to deliver for their communities.
"This new clubhouse is about more than bricks and mortar, it's about restoring a place to call home for Logan Metro Football Club and giving players a space to come together, train and thrive," Minister Leahy said.
"The Crisafulli Government is proud to back local councils like Logan, working in partnership to deliver the facilities communities need to stay active, connected and strong."
Construction began in August 2025 and finished in May 2026.
The new facility includes a clubroom, kitchen, canteen, office, referee room, first aid room, public amenities, changerooms and a storage shed.
Council provided temporary facilities after the fire to ensure the club could continue training and competitions while long-term funding was secured.
Logan Metro Football Club president Samuel Escobar said the opening of the new clubhouse was an important milestone.
"It has been two years since the fire and two full seasons without facilities," Mr Escobar said.
"Despite operating out of a demountable building since then, participation at the club has grown. Now, with proper facilities, we're expecting more growth heading into next season."
