Loganholme Woman's Social Media Check-In Nets $1.6M Win

Saturday lotto is proudly played across Australia under the brands Gold Lotto, Lotto, TattsLotto and X Lotto, bringing winning moments to players nationwide.

What started as a casual scroll through Facebook ended in a life-changing revelation for a Loganholme couple, who discovered they were holding a Saturday Gold Lotto ticket worth $1.6 million.

The Queensland residents held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4683, drawn Saturday 6 June 2026. They look forward to a total prize of $1,618,088.73.

As the winning entry wasn't registered to The Lott Members Club, we had no way of contacting the ticketholders and had to wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.

"We're in so much shock," the winning woman exclaimed when we confirmed the win.

"The newsagency that we purchased the ticket from had posted on their Facebook page that they sold a division one winning entry over the weekend and it reminded me that we purchased a ticket.

"I checked the ticket immediately and it was a big shock.

"We're still trying to process it all."

With $1.6 million soon to boost their bank account, the winning wife shared there were plenty of things they'd like to do with their prize.

"There's so much that we'd like to do!" she shared.

"We're going to plan to buy our very own home.

"Then we'll put some away for the children's futures.

"There will be some celebrations for sure."

Their winning 25-game QuickPick was purchased at IGA Loganholme, Unit 2 8 Ascot Drive, Loganholme.

IGA Loganholme owner Darrell Dhnaram said his team was celebrating selling the outlet's first division one winning entry.

"We're absolutely thrilled to have sold our first division one winning entry here at IGA Loganholme," he said.

"It's incredibly exciting for our team to know one of our customers has had such a life-changing win.

"We hope this win brings plenty of joy to the lucky ticketholder and their family, and we'll certainly be celebrating the news with our local community."
