Lund University School of Economics and Management has received its third accreditation through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and thereby joins the ranks of top business schools worldwide awarded a "Triple Crown".
The triple accreditation, or the Triple Crown, is the combination of accreditations held by just over 100 business schools worldwide (less than 1% of all business schools), awarded by the three largest and most influential business school accreditation organisations EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB.
Mats Benner, Dean of Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM), would like to thank all parties involved in bringing the accreditations home.

This in turn is thanks to all the efforts of our students, faculty, staff and partners in society," says Mats Benner.
"Quality stamp of a Triple Crown"
Erik Renström, Vice Chancellor of Lund University, recognises LUSEM's efforts and hard work to reach the highest international standards.

William Weidow is Vice President of the School's student union, Lundaekonomerna. The student union works with and for the students.
"Being triple accredited is important on many levels. It shows that our education is internationally valid and opens doors to studies and jobs both in Sweden and abroad. The accreditations are proof for both us students as well as potential employers that the education at the School strives for a balance between theory, innovative thinking and working with and for a sustainable business life," says William Weidow.
Positive effects on international collaborations
Ulrika Qvist Mathiesen is head of the School's international office, and has seen the positive effects of triple accreditation on international collaborations.
"LUSEM has an international profile, as stated in previous accreditations. We are proud of our network of partner universities. We have an excellent portfolio of academic partners, and as a Triple Crown accredited business school, we now have the opportunity to further develop, refine and deepen our collaborations," says Ulrika Qvist Mathiesen.
According to former Deputy Dean Kristina Eneroth, who has been leading the School's accreditation work for a long time, LUSEM has developed into an international learning environment over the past decade.
"Accreditation requires high quality research, high quality teaching and learning, and high quality external engagements. It is the amazing mix of faculty members, students and corporate connections that explains how LUSEM has found its way to a Triple Crown. It is all about finding its own strategic and creative approach to continuous improvements," says Kristina Eneroth.
