About 3:40am, a silver Toyota Kluger was travelling along Nicholson Road, when it left the carriageway and struck a tree.
Three passengers in the vehicle were conveyed to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Sadly, one of the passengers later died in hospital. The male driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
