Armadale Detectives have charged a 41-year-old man as a result of their investigation into an incident that occurred in Maddington on 31 October 2018 in which a man in his 30s was injured.
It is alleged around 6.30pm the victim and the man were involved in an altercation at a residence in Hibiscus Street. It is also alleged during this altercation the victim received a gunshot wound. , WA Police say
The victim was conveyed to the Armadale Hospital and then conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery.
The 41-year-old man from Maddington has been charged with:-

With intent to harm did an act which life of person was endangered;
•
Possess Unlicensed Firearm;
•
Possess Unlicensed Ammunition ;
•
Discharge a Firearm to Cause Fear;
•
Possess a Prohibited Drug (methylamphetamine); and
•
No Authority to Drive.
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today, 5 November 2018.
