Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Branch arrested a 22-year-old man from the northern suburbs this morning and charged him with two counts of rape, according to SA Police.
It will be alleged the offences were committed against a 16-year-old girl yesterday in Adelaide.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
